My Take:

Well, first off I have to say thank you for the advanced copy of this comic.

I grew up with GI Joe, I was the girl who loved girl things and boy things, and I loved the Joes. I have no experience with Danger Girl, I’ve honestly never heard of it before so I was not sure what to expect when I started reading this. First off I hate the way women are portrayed in comics, I do I really hate it, I get why but ug it’s just wrong. Anyway, I really enjoyed this comic, it has so many aspects that I liked about the Joe’s and Cobra, and I liked the addition of the Danger Girls, kinda, they didn’t seem overly important except for 1 or 2 characters. There were a few classic lines that have become so cliche that it’s almost comical, “Knowing is half the battle” and all that it just was so not necessary, but I get why they keep all those catch phrases. I liked the art work as well, it was really well done and very detailed, this comic was just overall pretty well done.
