Official Description:

Ben Tennyson and his teammates kick off a maelstrom of action when an ocean cruise brings Ben in the cross hairs of Ssserpent, who’s out to find a long-lost underwater society. But does Ben’s new, slightly oddball love interest harbor dark secrets of her own? Aliens, superpowers, ships, and swimsuits: the perfect ingredients for high-seas adventure.

My Take:

What happens when Ben Tennyson and crew go on vacation? Well, not relaxation! This comic follows the beloved Cartoon Network characters on the beginning of a new journey. This comic is easy to read, very little dialogue, marketed to a younger audience, potentially younger that the viewing audience, we’ll say 7 and younger. Everything is simple, there is a bad guy, Ssserpent, because we need to reiterate that this is a snake Alien, and there are mermaids, cruise ships and many different Aliens. I think that the kids will enjoy it, my son liked it ok, it was a little young for him, but he enjoyed sitting down and reading it. The story isn’t complete in this volume, of course, so you won’t have the satisfaction of a knowing what will happen. The story is about 60 pages or so, the rest involves art galleries and fun stuff to capture the eye. The art is well done and fits really well with the TV program. You’re Ben 10 fan will love this comic.

*I did receive this book for free for an honest review.
